The project’s interior is a billboard inviting passersby to look in. Inspired from neighboring context and the client’s logo, curved abstractions were integrated in multiple pieces of the building’s exterior and interior design. These movements accentuate the forward thinking nature of the bank. The abundant amount of exterior glass showcases the interior design. The hospitable client-focused front area empowers patrons to interact comfortably. It is dual-purpose. With the building’s tight footprint, staff can share customer education with their patrons and congregate for informal staff presentations. Flexibility is repeated where hoteling offices can be turned into a larger conference room with the switch of an operable wall. Existing brand colors of blue and white provided focus to the color scheme supported by tailored materiality. Impactful moments, including the lighting, custom designed boomerang table, and furniture selection, parlay into the magnitude of success of the progressive project. The petite building is eye-capturing, standing proudly in the active neighborhood of taller and larger buildings – a transparent, meaningful statement going beyond being transactional work.
