Moving from a generic interior office environment, the client wanted their new home to reimagine how both their
employees and clients experience and interact with their mission of providing up-to-date agricultural and weather data analytics to provide actionable insights for their clients. This project accepts the multifaceted challenge of celebrating the institution’s midwestern roots, attracting and retaining a younger, data-centric, workforce, while still embracing and creating a trustedfeel inherent to a seasoned institution. The detailing of the project leverages the marriage of midwestern agrarian influences with computational influence. A series of
wooden design elements are deployed throughout the space to break up the over 45,000 square foot office space into a series of unique neighborhood zones. The neighborhood zones are used to break up the 31,000-foot floorplate into a series of varied spatial experiences.
